Post Lesson Reflections

(A) It was mentioned that "the mark of puberty between the ages of 13 and 17 signalled emotional maturity – a sign of readiness for a relationship". Do you agree that between 13 and 17 is a good time to go steady? And why?

Neutral. I feel that as long as one is ready, a relationship can start. However is one has not found the one person, theres no need to go into a rushed relationship.

(B) Interestingly, the article also mentions that sex was not a major factor when dating but rather companionship and conversation. Based on your own experience or interaction with your peers, how accurate or true is that opinion of our youths in Singapore?

I agree that sex is not a major factor as dating is a time to bond and spend time with the person you like.

post lesson reflection-- LINDA~

a) i think 13 is the time when teenagers start to know and curious about "boys and girls relationship", but i don't think it the time to go steady. i don't know hw to explain my answer, but i think 13 is not mature enough to solve some problems, 13 sometimes are too reckless. i think 17 maybe is the time to go steady....17 is old enough....

b) hmm.... i believe that this is true..although i met some sicko in internet before. but personally, i feel that sex is not very important..haha. i would find someone understand me, someone is good to me.and someone is rich. haha.
